Our Story

Tehillah means “Praise” in Hebrew. At Tehillah Dance Company, our mission is to glorify God through the art of worship dance. We are committed to creating a space where dancers of all ages and skill levels can grow spiritually and artistically, offering their gifts in praise and excellence. Through training, performance, and ministry, we seek to inspire hearts, honor the Lord, and reflect His beauty through every movement.

My passion is ministering through the art of dance and teaching others how to dance with excellence. Starting my own dance company has been a God dream for so many years and I am excited to get to share what I’ve learned, and what God has put on my heart to teach all ages and levels of dancers. I am so grateful to the Lord for the opportunity to lead others in worship dance.

I am a Jacksonville native and have been married to my husband, Dan for over 14yrs. We have an amazing daughter, Sophie (age 11) who also loves to dance and perform, and serves as my assistant in my classes.

I have loved dancing ever since I can remember.

I started taking ballet in first grade with The Father's Company in Jacksonville, FL. Later I continued my training for many years at Shoshannah Arts where I studied ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, and tap. My love for dancing grew as well as my love for teaching and ministering through dance on missions trips around Jacksonville and internationally. I was a dance major at Jacksonville University when the Lord called me to lay down dance for a season to pursue a career in nursing. It was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do but I knew God would give dance back to me one day. Years later as I continued on with my nursing career the Lord reawakened dance in me and reawakened a long time dream of having my own dance company that focused on teaching dance technique with excellence but also focusing on worship dance and ministering through dance locally and internationally. My family and I moved to Redding, CA where my husband and I attended Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. It was at Bethel where my love for worship and prophetic dance grew as I took many dance classes and workshops. Since returning to Jacksonville from Redding in 2020 I have continued my nursing career and teaching dance classes at Dance For Joy, helping lead their Outreach Team, and teaching dance worship classes to kids and adults at my church, Grace Life Church.
