Policies
Dancers can wear any leotard, tights, and skirt or shorts they are comfortable in. Please come in pink ballet shoes. Hair does not need to be in a bun but must be securely pulled away from the face.
We will have occasional dress up days where dancers can come dressed in whatever costume or outfit they choose. Those will be announced at a later time.
For our Christmas show dancers will need to wear a black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes.
Adult Ballet & Worship class can dress in any comfortable outfit you are able to easily move in. Nothing too baggy. Ballet shoes are preferable so you can glide along the floor easier. Hair pulled away from the face.
All attire should be tasteful and modest. You should be able to easily move in it and let your body be easily seen by the instructor for her to able to offer technique correction if necessary during class.
Dance attire does not need to be purchased at a particular dance supply store, although fitting for ballet shoes for older girls and adults is easier at a store. Outfits can be purchased at second hand stores, Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.

Attendance

Please arrive on time and ready to dance. It is encouraged to arrive a few minutes early so your dancer can stretch and get warmed up, allowing them to fully participate in class.

There will be no refunds or prorated tuition for missed classes.

Each class builds on the skills learned previously, so regular attendance is essential for a dancer's growth. When a dancer misses class, it can slow their progress and affect the group, especially when learning choreography for a performance. Dance is a team effort! Every dancer's presence contributes to the success of the class.
Class Etiquette & Behavior
At Tehillah, we aim to create a Christ-centered environment where every dancer can grow in skill, character, and faith. Following these guidelines helps everyone learn, worship, stay safe, and encourage one another through dance.

No teasing, bullying, or disruptive behavior - let your words and actions honor God.
Respect for our dance space.

Grace Life Church is generously allowing us to use their facility for our dance classes. Please honor and respect their space by keeping personal belongings organized and clean up after yourself.

Please care for studio equipment, props, and space as good stewards of what God has provided.

Food and drink are not allowed in the dance room, except water.
Parents and Observers

Parents and families are welcome to observe class at designated times.

Please support all dancers with encouragement, prayer, and quiet attention during class.

Parents and families can quietly wait for their dancer in the church lobby while their dancer is in class. Please be mindful of your volume as their are typically other church members or staff in meetings at the church.
